Home Run The Movie

The Bible says in Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Who better to say these words than the Apostle Paul himself who was a persecutor of Christians yet He became a firm believer of our Lord Jesus Christ and spread the good news to many nations. Paul’s story demonstrates that God Has a plan for every one of us in spite of all the past mistakes we have made.

The Home Run movie is a story about a baseball player that has a difficult upbringing and carries the scars of a painful relationship with his dad into adult life. In a bid to forget his past he becomes an alcoholic, hurts those closest to him and his career begins to fall apart.

With the help of a friend that understands his situation he commits his life to the Lord and works on overcoming his addiction. As a result of this change he experiences a peace that he never thought possible and becomes a new creation. This is a story that demonstrates the extent of God’s mercy and love for us all. In a world that is less than perfect we can have confidence that God comes to our rescue when we cry out to Him.

The video above is the movie trailer. Watching this movie changed my life and perspective about the things that really matter in life and it will have a similar impact on you after you watch it as well.

Have you ever been through such an experience or know someone who is going through such? This is one of the Christian movie reviews I would recommend you share with someone so they can consider watching the movie. Some problems that we experience in life are because of generational bondage that doesn’t just disappear when we grow older.

Such bondage affects not only your life but your offspring too if not dealt with and renounced in the Name of Jesus. You will see this pattern in the Bible in the book of Kings. At the start of each chapter when a new king is established you will notice how it says, “He did good (or evil) …. just like his father had done.” Certain trends were broken only when someone decided that he and his household were going to serve the Lord.

Instead of generational bondage in your life determine to pass on generational blessing. Be the one that breaks negative trends in your family lineage to set up your family for generational blessings.

Know that God loves you and that your past does not determine your future. If your life is in a mess come before the throne of grace and get right with God today. Only through Him is salvation found. Life in Christ leads to meaningful purpose and abundance in every area.

If you have given your life to the Lord Jesus we would love to hear about the amazing things He has done in your life and encourage others in the process. Definitely share this article on social media to your friends and family. Until next time,

Be all you can be!
