The Power of Prayer - War Room the Movie The previous 2 posts have been high level overviews of what effective prayer looks like and I hope you learned something from them that you will begin to apply in your life. The Word of God says in James 5:16 says, “…The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” The enemy does not want you to understand the power you have to defeat him and therefore tries by all means to distract you from praying.

Movie trailer

Tony and Elizabeth Jordan seem to be the perfect couple on the outside to most people. They have good jobs, a lovely daughter, a nice home, nice cars, and they even attend church as a family. However, appearances can be deceiving as you might have learned from your own life experiences. Their marriage is on the verge of falling apart as most of their time together is spent fighting each other which make their daughter, Danielle, really sad. One of the other problems is that they don’t spend enough quality time as a family because of their professions. Tony is a salesperson for a big pharmaceutical company that requires that he travels frequently while Elizabeth is a real estate agent. Tony is the kind of guy that is a success out in the world yet his family life is something else and that’s what irritates Elizabeth the most. With seemingly no way out of their dire situation Elizabeth meets a woman that turns out to be an angel in disguise who teaches her to pray in order to save her marriage. Like most people Elizabeth took prayer as a casual part of her life. As she begins to make prayer requests to God for her marriage and other areas of her life she soon discovers the key to answered prayers. Her life experiences a complete transformation as a result of the lessons she applies. This is a great movie to watch as a family or with friends and I strongly recommend you make the time to do so. It is evident from the events happening around the world that we are living in the end times so we have to constantly fight our battles in prayer. Our warfare is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces in the spiritual realm. Before anything manifests in the physical it is birthed in the spiritual realm that is why we first have to engage in prayer before we see things come to pass in the physical. Thank you for taking the time to read this post and I really do urge you to watch this movie. It will really encourage you to fight your battles the right way.
