What is Your Dream

What is Your Dream

- in Life, Success

You might have heard before that what you’re looking for is right under your nose. That’s the case with our individual dreams from God. In the pursuit of riches and other things of this world we tend to lose sight of the dream God has called us to. From personal experience that’s a route that leads to frustration and gets you nowhere. The Bible says in Matthew 6:33Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

I feel the most alive when I minister the Word of God to people and help them to find purpose and meaning in their lives, particularly men. When men are led by the Lord then I know that families, communities, nations, etc become prosperous. What I learned from that frustrating experience is that God wants us to surrender our own (often selfish) dreams to Him and He will then give us a new dream that meets a Big Need in His Kingdom.

If you feel like you don’t have a Big Dream the truth is that it has always been there but you have been distracted from it by the things of this world. The Big Need God wants you to address is still there and only you can address it in the unique way God shaped it.

Think about it for a minute; the Big Dream is unique to you. Moses had a dream to rescue his people from the Egyptian oppression. He went into exile for forty years until God called him again to fulfil that dream. The Dream never dies so it’s your responsibility to act on it.

When you act on the Dream God’s provision becomes apparent as it says in Philippians 4:19But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” When you take care of God’s business He begins to take care of yours. As long as you still have breath in you it’s never too late to act on your Big Dream. That’s good news, isn’t it? Moses acted on His Dream at 80 years of age and died at 120 having fulfilled it.

If 2015 is going to be different from 2014 ask yourself what things you need to do differently. Prioritise the Big Dream God has entrusted to you over other things because when you put Him first be assured that He will take care of your needs. As mentioned in the previous post, remember that You Are The One God has called to do great and mighty things in His Kingdom.

Be all you can be!
