In the previous posts we learned that we should start our warfare in prayer because everything begins in the spiritual realm then manifests in the physical. Without starting in prayer our plans surely don’t come to fruition as much as we may expect. Prayer is a very important part of the life of a believer. Continue in the same vein for everything you do. It would be a good idea to develop a prayer strategy for every area of your life.
As you pray and seek God’s face He begins to show you His magnificent plans for your life. It then becomes your duty to carry out the vision or assignment that He shows you by taking the necessary actions. Many times people fall into the trap of thinking that God will do everything to make their dreams a reality. I’ve made the same mistake before by not doing as much as I should have.
“As Moses was divinely instructed when he was about to make the tabernacle. For He said, ‘See that you make all things according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.’” ~ Hebrews 8:5
Many times some of the things God leads you to do don’t make logical sense so there’s the tendency to procrastinate. In a way that behavior communicates doubt in God which does not please Him at all. God’s ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts than our thoughts; you need to trust Him. So stop procrastinating and take action to move towards your ‘promised land.’
“But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?” ~ James 2:20
It is really not complicated to obey God when you really develop a deeper relationship with Him. It is not easy but simple. We ought to walk by faith and not by sight. With each step that you take you move closer and closer to making the dream/vision a reality. He needs you to participate in your dreams to bring them to pass.
Is there anything stopping you from taking action in the direction of your dreams? The big winners in life take massive and determined action while also eliminating excuses. I was taught by one of my mentors that you can either have results or excuses but you can’t have both. The sooner you stop procrastinating the sooner you will realize your dreams.
“What good is inspiration if it is not backed with action?” ~ John Mason
Working towards your dreams does not guarantee that they will materialize when you want them to. It may take a bit more time or much longer than you expect. Whatever the outcome be diligent in everything you do and at the perfect time God will make all things to work together for your good but more importantly for the glory of His Name.
