Prisoner behind bars

We have come a long way with this series and I congratulate you for having stayed with it until now as we have learned quite a lot. Many people around the world, as you have learned, are imprisoned. By saying imprisoned I am not referring to physical chains on their wrists or being thrown behind bars as we commonly know. I am referring to being imprisoned in the mind; and that is the worst kind of imprisonment that we can ever suffer.

The deception in this world is so subtle that most people may never realise it and remain slaves for the rest of their lives. Again, I have not been sharing this information in order to depress you but help you get freedom by knowing the truth. That is the good news; you can actually do something about it. Changing your life is a very real possibility and you can live the life that God created you for ?to live abundantly as well as care and contribute towards the needs of others.

“You are stronger than you think.”

Imagine for a moment that you are an actual prisoner and you are locked behind bars, for a crime that you didn’t commit. Even worse you have been given a life sentence and there’s no way out which basically means you’re doomed to die there. That’s how most people feel. But imagine you’re in the same prison cell with the same sentence but you realise there’s a key around your neck.

Say you take the key and try it on the prison door. To your amazement it actually opens and you are a free man. Despite what circumstances suggest you have the key to unlock your own freedom; you have the power to change your life. You may have questions about how to change your life given your seemingly dire situation. Understand that you have the power to do so. The government is not going to rescue you, only you can.

You rescue yourself by using the key to unlock your freedom. The key represents personal development on your part to equip you to pursue the dreams that God gave you to pursue. Realizing those dreams unlocks your freedom but more importantly helps to unlock the freedom of thousands of others that have given up on themselves.

“Work hard at your job and you can make a living. Work hard on yourself and you can make a fortune.” ~ Jim Rohn

You have the power to change your life. The illusion is that you are bound to the life that you have but it is not true. Remember earlier in the series I mentioned that you are stronger than you think. You can achieve more than you have accomplished up to this point. That is the truth. Isn’t it liberating to know that you can actually do something to change the story of your life?

For many it may take time to accept that truth because we have been deceived for a very long time into believing that having an average life is ok that it’s so hard to believe that there’s more to life.

Imagine if all of us took up the responsibility of pursuing our dreams and working together; our society would definitely be a better place. Don’t wait on your government or certain people to improve your life. They may play a part along the way but do not be resigned to a life of mediocrity because of them.

I’m glad that you took the red pill and you now know the truth as a result. It’s your duty now to tell other people the same thing and demonstrate it by pursuing your dreams. Your dreams may seem dumb to other people but they will make a difference for the world around you.

Share this post with your friends and leave your comments below to share how this series has impacted you and what you are going to do change your situation and the world around you. I will be looking forward to it. Until next time,

Be all you can be!
