If you are aspiring to be a millionaire at some point in your life then the person you are today will not be the person who will be making millions of dollars. This is one of the biggest lessons that I learned from my mentor. Becoming successful in business isn’t just about what you do, it also has to do with how you think. It all starts in the mind.
“POOR people have a big TV. RICH people have a big library.” ~ Jim Rohn
Whichever type of business that you are working on, traditional or network marketing, you need to be constantly learning and improving. The quote above sums it up really well. Poor people spend a lot of time watching TV series, movies, etc. While that isn’t totally a bad thing spending too much time on that basically kills your chances of becoming wealthy.
Rich people on the other hand are busy doing productive things with their time that help them get ahead in life. Part of that is reading good books, attending seminars, talking to prospective customers, etc. Personal development and taking action on what they learn gets rich people ahead.
They understand that they first have to BE the right person, DO the right things, and then HAVE what they want. Poor people think the opposite, which is first having the cool stuff that makes them look rich, doing what the rich do and trying to be like rich people but it doesn’t work. Remember that we said it all starts in the mind.
BE. DO. HAVE.
Do you have a personal development plan that you are following to ensure that you’re constantly growing and becoming the person that can achieve the goal of having what you want? If not, why not? Begin working on that plan to give yourself a chance to make your dreams a reality.
I started my personal development journey in the latter years of high school and I have never stopped since. Over a period of time I have seen changes in myself that surprised even me! When you feed your mind with the right food you naturally become a better person just as you grow when you eat the right food stuffs.
Begin your journey today and commit to always learning something new everyday. Stay tuned for the next post and until next time,
Be all you can be!
